Coming to a Mind Near You

Leica’s new camera, new pictures.

By : Nasser

I am taking the new leica on a regional tour next week ,to prepare for this , I though taking it to unfamiliar places in Jordan would be a a good way  to get a better grip on the new leica and my general approach to photography in new untested waters.

Madaba , on a lazy Friday.

Wonder where the name came from .

Egyptian hustle . For those who can’t read arabic , these two Egyptian workers have their profession and sell phone numbers written on the walls behind them, one is a plumber the other is a construction worker.Stairway to…….

Best seat in the house.

There are areas in Amman that capture the nature of its inhabitants such as the Armenian neighborhood , Al Baqqa , Jabal Al Weibdeh and Wadi al seer , an area inhabited  by Circassians since 1880’s is an example .

Ten min drive  from the last shot and you come across a 2000 year old ancient site.

The photos look nice though the quality isn’t really what one would expect from leica. It’s clear that this is “just” a Panasonic TZ10(ZS7 for america) and nothing else.

For the same money of this V-Lux you could get an extraordinary Olympus Pen with much better resolution and ISO quality.

    • I really wish I could reply to you but I am bound by the NDA, I own the Pen , both the new and old models and I like it a whole lot,all I am going to say is that the pics are not in the highest possible resolution and that given the option I’ll go with the Leica , I think Leica will be making the announcement soon so when they do I’ll be able to talk about why i would choose that.

Here is a link to some of my work with the PEN if you are interested . thanks for passing by .
